the short version

t-switcher runs entirely on your Mac. it has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and it does not read, store, or transmit what you type or map.

what the app touches

MIDI input from your Teenage Engineering device is processed locally and never leaves your machine.
Accessibility permission is used only to send the keystrokes you mapped. t-switcher does not observe or log your keyboard.
your mappings are stored in a local file (~/Library/Application Support/T-Switcher/).

network connections

update checks (Sparkle) fetch a version file from tswitcher.app. this is a plain HTTPS request; we don't attach identifiers to it.
license validation (paid versions) verifies your license key. the key and app version are the only data sent.

this website

tswitcher.app is served by Cloudflare and keeps only standard, short-lived server logs (IP, user agent) for abuse prevention. no ad trackers, no third-party analytics scripts, no cookies.

payments

purchases are processed by our merchant of record; your payment details go to them, never to us. their privacy policy applies to the checkout.
